Awesome restaurant. Food was great. Service was superior. Draft beers limited but margaritas were yummy. I had the cauliflower crust margarita pizza and it was a top 10. Our server handled our table of 13 with individual checks and varied orders with ease. She was one of the impressive servers I’ve seen and was attentive joyful.

My wife immediately knew the story and the decor. I had no idea. Our waitress provided the story book and I read it while we were waiting for food. Such a great theme for a spot. Service was great. Food was lovely. Apple Bacon half of the pizza was a hit! Hanky Panky was left as an appetizer. I recommend.

During my ride today, I stopped into The Gruff for a quick lunch and it ended up being a really solid stop. The location is great if you’re already downtown walking around, and the atmosphere has a cool industrial/open-air feel without trying too hard. Staff were quick and friendly, food came out fast, and everything felt relaxed and easy. I ordered the 3 Goat Sandwich and definitely recommend it if you like goat cheese. The fries were crispy, portions were solid, and the beer selection was good as well. The mural outside is also awesome and gives the whole place a lot of character before you even walk in. Overall, just a really good casual stop for food and drinks if you’re in the Covington area.

My first visit here. Overall we loved the vibe and feel of the place. I liked that there is a place for everyone. Large group dinner, yes, family dinner, yes, small friends dinner, yes. Watching sports? Plenty of space and local beers if you drink. I personally had the pickle fries and chicken sandwich. Both were great. Friendly staff, plus many options for every type of diet. I could be wrong, but it seemed like a lot of house made or local ingredients. In the area, give this place a try. Only issue is parking, but there is available parking in the area. My favorite thing was the bathroom signs. 10/10 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€
